Senior Resident Annual Fishing License Reciprocity (Prior HB 1011)

Memo
I am planning to reintroduce legislation that will amend Title 30 (Fish & Boat Code) of the PA Consolidated Statutes, authorizing the PA Attorney General to enter into reciprocal agreements with other states allowing senior citizen fishing licenses issued by the Commonwealth and each state in agreement to be recognized as resident licenses in any state participating in such an agreement.
I believe this cost savings to our valued senior anglers would help encourage more travel by senior residents while attracting tourism to the Commonwealth from out-of-state anglers, resulting in a boost to our economy through the spending of additional sportsmen’s dollars here.
