I plan to introduce legislation that will amend the act of June 28, 1995 (P.L89, No.18 Section 314), known as the Conservation and Natural Resources Act.
The general rule will be amended to read, whenever the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources imposes fees or charges for activities, admissions, uses or privileges at state parks, all charges or fees will be used solely for the maintenance, operation or administration of the state park system.
A specific state park may impose fees or parking charges in such amounts necessary to provide for maintenance, operation or administration of that state park.
Please join me in cosponsoring this piece of legislation.
