Representative Joe Emrick
R House District 137
Memo
Recently, the General Assembly approved an amendment to the Tax Reform Code that diverted surplus table game taxes that were required to be deposited into the Property Tax Relief Fund. Beginning July 1, 2022, the taxes are being diverted into the General Fund. My legislation will put those extra dollars back into the hands of homeowners where they rightfully belong to provide for further property tax reductions.
I hope you will join me in co-sponsoring this important legislation.
