Far too often, the growth of Pennsylvania businesses is cut short due to the lack of capital during their critical years of development. The Second Stage Loan Program can provide needed assistance for those businesses, especially those in the life sciences, advanced technology, and manufacturing industries. Through innovation and targeted investment, we can write Pennsylvania’s next economic chapter.
With the modernization of the Second Stage Loan Program, we will not only assist Pennsylvania businesses, but it will also create more job opportunities for Pennsylvania workers. My legislation will ensure the Second Stage Loan Program is reserved for Pennsylvania-based businesses that continue to do great work in Pennsylvania for years to come.
We must provide ample employment opportunity to our residents, as well as ensure that our state economy flourishes through the growth of local businesses. Please join me in providing for a stronger economy and creating sustainable jobs by co-sponsoring this bill.
