Co-Sponsorship Memo Details

In the near future, I will be introducing legislation that would amend the Housing Authorities Law.
 
This bill would allow housing authorities in cities of the third class to establish a police force, similar to the system in place in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Housing authority police forces would enhance public housing safety and encourage community policing efforts. The public housing police force would undergo the same training as municipal police officers, ensuring quality protection for the residents.
