Memo
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, thirty states, including all of the states that share a border with Pennsylvania, have a minimum wage that is higher than the federal minimum wage. Meanwhile, Pennsylvania has remained at $7.25 per hour since the federal minimum wage was last increased in 2009.

This is why I will once again be introducing legislation to raise Pennsylvania’s minimum wage. My proposal will increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour beginning January 1, 2024, and tie future increases to the Consumer Price Index.

Please join me so that we can create a living wage for Pennsylvania workers.
