Memo
In the near future, I will be re-introducing legislation to amend Title 75 (Vehicle Code) to allow our severely disabled, disabled veterans and prisoners of war the opportunity to obtain more than one specially-designated license plate.
Currently, Title 75 only allows individuals who qualify for the respective license plates the opportunity to have only one such special registration plate for a passenger car or truck with a registered gross weight of not more than 10,000 pounds even if they own more than one such vehicle.
I have heard from numerous veterans who feel that this limitation is unfair and would like to have the ability to obtain special registration plates on all of their personal vehicles.
This is a reintroduction of SB 1238 from the pervious legislative session. Co-sponsors included RAFFERTY, COSTA, HUGHES, BROWNE,TARTAGLIONE, FONTANA, ERICKSON, MENSCH, LEACH, SCHWANK,FOLMER, SOLOBAY, BREWSTER AND BRUBAKER
