Memo
In the near future, I intend to reintroduce legislation that will aid firefighters, and I encourage you to join me as a co-sponsor.
My bill establishes the “Municipal Firefighter Education and Training Program." This program would set standards for newly hired firefighters. It would also provide funds to municipalities for education and training programs.
This is a reintroduction of SB 787 from the previous legislative session. Co-sponsors included: COSTA, TARTAGLIONE, FONTANA, WILEY, STACK, BREWSTER, TEPLITZ, FARNESE and RAFFERTY.
