At the suggestion of the Legislative Reference Bureau, I will be introducing legislation amending the Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses), Title 23 (Domestic Relations) and Title 42 (Judicial Procedure) to remove all references to the Department of Public Welfare and replacing the term with “Department of Human Services,” to reflect the department’s name change made by Act 132 of 2014. There are no substantive amendments to any of these titles contained in the legislation.
