Memo
In the near future, I will re-introduce a resolution recognizing "International Women's Day" in the Commonwealth. #BalanceforBetter is the 2019 theme for this year's March 8th celebration. I encourage you to join me as a co-sponsor.

International Women's Day has been observed since in the early 1900's, and annually on March 8th. Thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate achievements. This day strives to acknowledge the economic, political, and social achievements of women throughout history and it is my belief that our Commonwealth should join in recognizing these accomplishments and how vital women are to our communities.
