In the near future, I intend to introduce legislation to allow garage floor drains to be discharged to a treatment tank of an on-lot sewage system.

Building code allows a garage floor to simply be sloped so anything can he hosed out the overhead door and into the environment.

In recent years, there has been discrepancy between the Sewage Facilities Act regulations and the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code.

This legislation would amend the Sewage Facilities Act to allow foundation drainage and garage floor drains to be discharged to a treatment tank of an on-lot sewage system.
